Every school has a SUPERSTAR. Help us find yours

Teachers, bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria staff, coaches, paraprofessionals — anyone at SACS who's gone above and beyond deserves to be recognized. Your nomination is how that happens.

Under 5 minutes. Free to nominate. Nominations open all year.

If they show up for kids, they qualify.

The Superstar Award isn't just for classroom teachers. It's for anyone on staff whose work makes a real difference — often in ways that go unnoticed.

Not sure your nominee "fits"? They do. If someone made your child's day, week, or year better — we want to recognize them.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

What nominations sound like

A few lines from real nominations — proof that "above and beyond" looks different for every role.

He helped me want to actually show up to school every day and put effort into my schoolwork.
— A STUDENT, ON MR. LAZOFF
Mr. Pat is the perfect example of what a bus driver should be — always kind, and he truly cares about everyone on his bus.
— A PARENT, ON MR. PAT
He makes students feel seen and valued. He’s an unsung hero who deserves to be recognized.
— A PARENT, ON MR. KEEFER, CUSTODIAN

What happens after you submit

Simple by design — so the only hard part is deciding who to nominate first.

STEP 01

Tell us their story

Fill out a short form with a few sentences about what this person did and the difference it made. Specific moments work better than general praise.

STEP 02

Our committee reads every entry

Each month, a Foundation committee reviews all nominations submitted — not just a shortlist. Every story gets read.

STEP 03

A Superstar is recognized

One winner is announced each month and receives public recognition plus $250 to say thank you for their impact. Each nominee and their administrator receive an email saying their were nominated.

WHY IT MATTERS

Recognition most staff never hear

Bus drivers rarely hear how their kindness set the tone for someone's whole day. Custodians rarely hear that a kid looks for them in the hallway. Teachers rarely hear it from anyone but their students. A nomination makes sure they do — and puts real thanks behind it.

You already know who deserves this!
